Forbonden is a housing estate built in the era of Miljonprogramet. Which characterised architecture and society in Sweden, 1965–1975. Today, many of these estates including Forbonen are rundown and in need of renovation.

The project is a sensitive matter hence; the rent should remain affordable. The scale of the project creates a design process where every stage informs the next. Which increases production speed and lowers costs. All materials and details are carefully selected to be long lasting and the colour scheme is an honour and play with the exterior facades.
